Good Shepherd Academy’s Gifted and Talented Program - R.U.B.I.K.S. , Recognizing Unique aBility, Imagination, Knowledge, and Skills - is comprised of 7th and 8th grade students who have been recommended because they exhibit above average abilities in two or more subject areas, outstanding capabilities in the fine arts, and extraordinary problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as possessing a consistent work ethic and determination to succeed.

The specific criteria for selection into R.U.B.I.K.S. is:

1. The student has achieved a 95 or higher in two more subjects and an average of 92 or higher in the remaining subjects.
    
2. Teacher recommendations. The Recommended students must maintain this criteria to continue to participate in the program.

The mission of this program is to enhance the curriculum and to challenge our students who have been recognized as gifted and talented. This year the focus of the program will be robotics.
