All students entering third grade should read at least one book in the Magic Tree House Series by Mary Pope Osborne (the traditional chapter books, please no graphic novels or nonfiction books in the "Fact Tracker" series).

We kindly ask that children entering 3rd grade in the Fall complete the following reading and language arts skills on IXL (2nd grade skills):

J 1 and J 7 Short & Long Vowel Sounds
S2 Sight Words
T1 Sequencing
X1 Topic
Z1 Compare and Contrast
FF1 Order Sentences
NN1 Compound Words
XX1 and XX2 Nouns
ZZ2 Action Verbs
HH1 and HH2 Capitalization
Students should also complete the following math skills as well:
